10 Things to Know About: Tune of LezUrban Productions

Meet Tune, the Bowtie Prince. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the now Sacramento resident, was tired of seeing heterosexual actors trying to sell her fake lesbian sex scenes and decided enough was enough.
So she took her place in the director’s seat, to provide an authentic representation in lesbian porn focused on supplying the LGBTQ community with a product that would be designed with them in mind.
And thus LezUrban Productions was born…

The Basics

1. Name: Tune, aka the Bowtie King

2. Age (You can give me the range…): 24

3. Yeah Yeah Yeah, we don’t like labels…..but umm: I rock my Ag label proudly.

Why You Rock

4. So what is your claim to fame?

I don’t consider myself famous but I’m a lesbian pornographer. I own Lezurban productions, which is an adult film company committed to the authentic portrayal of lesbian sex featuring women of color.

5. What made you do what you are doing?

Honestly, I was always dissatisfied with the lack of authenticity in mainstream lesbian adult films. They often featured women who simply did not trip my gaydar.

Further, these films seemed to ignore the aggressive woman in every aspect. The women did not have sex the way I did and none of them looked like me or my peers. So I decided to make my own representation of what I thought lesbian sex was. I made sure to include women who looked like me and women who I could ultimately envision myself having sex with.

6. Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

In five years I see LezUrban as a premier film company for LGBTQI adult films.

Community Affairs

7. What do you think are the State of Affairs in the LGBT community present-day?

I know the politically correct answer to this question would be equal rights, the most popular being the right to marry who we please. However I believe there is a more paramount issue that is being swept under the rug.

In a recent reading of Sisters of the Yam, I came across an illuminating quote that read “when wounded individuals come together in groups to make change, our collective struggle is often undermined by all that has not been dealt with emotionally.” In my opinion the only way to recieve full and equal rights across the board is for each homosexual to realize their individual potential. Then and only then will we be able to successfully and collectively fight for what we deserve.

8. What would you say to the young (and no-so-young) sister/brother who has decided to come out the closet?

I believe that having the opportunity to be who you are with the ones you love is essential in becoming comfy in your own skin.

Not everyone in your life will agree with who you are and some may feel threatened by you. Luckily today there are so many resources for LGBTQI  youth, you will always have your rainbow family to help you through this difficult process even if your biological family is nowhere to be found.

Just because I want to know..

9. What is your definition of pride?

For me pride simply comes down to being comfortable in your own skin no matter where you are.

10. What is in your nightstand drawer? *eyebrow raise*

LOL I don’t have a nightstand, but I own a pocket rocket which has become my new BFF in my newly found eligible bachelor status. I also have my trusty sidekick William T. Anthony aka my strap. And the usual  hand cuffs and a sex swing. I’ll be adding a stripper pole to the tool box soon.

A little extra: This isn’t a radio show, but there is nothing like a good shout out.

I’d like to thank my right hand man Pimpie aka @theoriginalteam. She’s been rockin’ with me from day one. I also like to thank all my actors who helped me realize my dream. And last but certainly not least everyone who purchased a Day Dreaming DVD and showered us with love and support.
