9. What is in your nightstand drawer? *eyebrow raise*
CX: That’s for me to know and you to guess!
TM: Wouldn’t you like to know
KT: Packet of sweets, some socks and a bottle of lube. You don’t want to be unprepared when it comes to a nightly sugar crash…
RK: All a single girl needs to feel content while waiting till the right person comes along… And some knitting needles and yarn in case the right person doesn’t come I can make something to keep myself warm. ; )
SS: I don’t have a nightstand drawer! But looking at the space beside the bed now, there are a pair of running shoes, a stack of flyers for a feature I directed called ‘Bruno & Earlene Go To Vegas’, and a bubble machine which was used in a QPOC-themed short film/music video I shot last month (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB9MC8wvRGE). There’s also a book and a mug. Sorry – nothing saucy I’m afraid.
10. What is your definition of pride?
CX: Pride means having self- love for your LGBT self and then embracing others who are different to you with compassion and patience. “It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences.” – Audre Lorde <–POW!
TM: An awareness of self of truth and honouring that.
KT: Really standing up for what you believe in… And one hell of a gay festival
RK: Embracing and accepting all of who you are, your choices and experiences, failures and successes, the good and the bad (it all shapes who we are).
SS: On my terms, it is a quiet, confident, transgressive force.

The film showing is 9 dollars. You have to get your ticket on the website. *crossing fingers they aren’t already sold out* The roundtable…. we are working out the details. It won’t cost anything for sure. We are just trying to figure out where we can do it. 🙂
