Congratulations are in order!

One of the League of Extraordinary Lesbians, Martina Navratilova has tied the knot to her longtime girlfriend Julia Lemigova on Monday, December 15th.

“I’m 58 years old — I got married for the first time,” Navratilova told the BBC shortly after the ceremony, details of which have thus far been scarce. “It’s about time, right? Growing up as a gay woman you just don’t ever think about that.”

Marco Fidel Ramirez is calling on Colombia’s National Television Authority to ban the video of her tune ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ from being broadcast on any of the nation’s channels.
The Public Option party councillor, from the capital of Bogota, said the video ‘damages the moral character of the youth of Bogota, Colombia and Latin America.’ He dubbed the 37-year-old Colombian singer, who appears in various provocative positions with Rihanna, a reference point for a society in moral decay. I am long overdue for a plenty of fish update. So here goes. I haven’t been on there. That’s all I got. Okay well not really, I did sign on a few weeks ago during one of my “I am going to end up alone” bouts of regression (yes regression, not depression). First person to draw my attention was a young black woman with a UF hat on, which alone was enough to warrant a “click”. Come to find out this girl not only attended my alma mater, but we graduated around the same time… and knew the same people. Ain’t that something? We emailed back and forth for a day or two and finally exchanged numbers.

I had an honesty moment…. I don’t want to date right now online or otherwise. I was trying to rush into something in order to get over the ex-Mrs and “The Ghost of GFs Past”… that’s whack.

I had this epiphany when I met a really nice attractive woman and I dismissed her without just cause.

The old adage about getting over one woman by getting under another is not really for me. That plus some of these broads are heavy… and I need to keep it light.

So with that the app is removed from my phone.

Sorry I won’t be able to regale you with any more tales of catfish. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOURS!

:60 Second Shorts: Taverna Opa Brickell #MiamiSpice

I was out and about with the sisters Saturday handling some chapter business when we ended up having a little nosh at Taverna Opa in Brickell.

Though I had the Miami Spice offering, honestly I was more concerned with the meeting than the food/environment. Since I really wasn’t paying attention, it wouldn’t be fair to write a review. BUT I will say that Taverna Opa never disappoints. The food was delicious and I hope I captured some of that yummy in the few pictures I snapped.

I’m sure to be back there Spice or not.
