Happy Super Bowl Week Lovebugs!

We are in full on Super Week hysteria in Miami. The traffic is backing up, celebrities are touching down and parties are going all around. If you are a sports fan or music fan, this is the place to be.

I must say I am not the biggest football fan. I love a good tailgate and the atmosphere, but I am definitely not a die hard fan. So I wasn’t exactly sure what I was getting into when my friend Donna suggested we go to the Super Bowl opening night at the Marlins stadium to kick of Superbowl LIV. I knew I was going to have a good time with one of my great friends, but I was fully ready to be bored. Boy was I wrong! I had an absolute blast.

This event will take place October 12-15, 2016 at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center, in Albany, New York. The Power of Unity brings you towards a more holistic, inclusive and intersectional movement that includes advocating for social justice for the LGBT people of color communities.

12:00 to 6:30 PM – Individual grief sessions will be available at Pridelines.

6:00 PM – Community Event Begins
6:00 to 7:30 Pm – Meditation on the Patio
6:00 to 7:30 PM – Group Grief Session
6:00 to 9:30 PM – Individual Grief Counseling
6:00 to 7:30 PM – Prayer with faith leaders
7:45 to 8:30 PM – Statements from local LGBTQ community leaders
8:30 to 9:30 PM – Meditation on the Patio
8:30 to 9:30 PM – Call to action/response town-hall meeting
8:30 to 9:30 PM – Prayer with faith leader.
