#SupportBlackLezBiz – K Word Creations

So I have totally been slacking on blogging recently and I hope this post partially explains why. A few weeks back I started making homemade, hand stitched journals as a hobby and well… it has blown up. It has been an amazing experience so far. I went from just spotlighting black lesbian owned businesses with #SupportBlackLezBiz to becoming one.

I am not really good about tooting my own horn or “selling things” but since some of my awesome blog readers have found out about my journals, I decided to share.

I make my hand stitched blank journals using coptic stitching. Without going into the history, the perk of bindng it this way allows the book to open completely flat at any page. So they are perfect for sketching / painting as well as writing.
